eatgood is a recipe book. It keeps what you put in it so you can find it again, and nothing else. No ads, no selling your data, no tracking.

What eatgood keeps

  • Your email address, so you can sign in.
  • Your recipes, photos, folders, tags, cook log notes and unit preference.
  • What you send to import a recipe (a link, text, photos or a PDF), kept with the import so a failed one can be retried. You can discard an import any time.
  • The USDA foods matched to your ingredients, so nutrition loads faster next time.
  • A count of how many imports and lookups you used each day, for the daily limits.
  • One cookie, to keep you signed in.

Who can see it

Only you. Every table is locked to its owner, so no other account can read your recipes, photos or notes.

When you share a recipe, anyone with that link can see that one recipe (title, photo, ingredients and steps), but never your notes, cook log or folders. Stop sharing and the link stops working at once.

If you connect Claude or ChatGPT, it can save and read your recipes as you, and nothing beyond that. Disconnect it in Settings, under AI apps.

Services eatgood uses

  • Supabase stores your account, recipes and photos.
  • Vercel runs the app.
  • Resend sends your sign-in emails.
  • Anthropic (the company behind Claude) reads what you import through eatgood and turns it into a recipe. Anthropic doesn't use data sent through its API to train its models.
  • USDA FoodData Central gets ingredient names, never anything about you, to look up nutrition.
  • Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and recipe sites get the link you shared, so eatgood can read the public caption or page. If a site blocks that, the Internet Archive gets the same link to look for its saved copy.

Deleting things

Deleting a recipe moves it to the trash for 30 days, then it's gone for good, photos included. Delete for good in the trash removes it straight away.

To delete your whole account, open Settings and tap Delete account. Your recipes, photos, notes, folders, imports and share links go straight away, and connected AI apps lose access. If you can't sign in, email hello@lifeoftice.com from the address you sign in with.
